The Pain of Unquiet Evenings

Existing With A Mind That Won't Quiet

We long for an/a/some escape, a place/safety/shelter where the pain/suffering/anguish can fade/disappear/evaporate, but often/always/sometimes the darkness persists/holds tight/remains. It's in these moments of helplessness that we must find/create/forge our own/internal/personal light/strength/will. We must face/confront/stand against the emptiness/void/terror, and discover/remember/unearth the resilient/unyielding spirit that lies within/deep inside/at our core.

The Heavy Blanket of Insomnia

Insomnia acts as a crushing weight upon your mind and body. You toss and turn, yearning for sleep that just seems out of reach. The hours crawl by, each one an eternity marked by anxieties and frustration. This constant state of wakefulness becomes a prisoner within the darkness.

Craving for Sweet Oblivion

The clutch of oblivion was a siren's call, a searing promise of escape. To drown in its depths was to still the incessant noise of existence. The reality's sharp edges faded under the spell of its sweetness.

To truly long oblivion was to ache for a fleeting respite from the burden of being.
